Results are illustrative. Calculations run entirely in your browser, nothing you enter is sent anywhere, and no figure here is a forecast, a guarantee or investment advice. Markets can rise or fall.

How the calculation works

Each year: contributions are added, the price-growth assumption is applied, dividends are calculated from the current yield on value, and (if selected) reinvested. The yield then grows by the dividend-growth rate.

Frequently asked questions

Are dividends guaranteed?

No. Dividend payments are set by each company and can be increased, reduced or suspended.

What does reinvesting do?

Reinvested dividends buy more of the holding, which raises future income if the dividend is maintained.
